Visitors
Visitors are welcome at Gungahlin Lakes Golf Club. Social play is available to visitors outside of the normal club competition times.
Visitors with a current Golf Australia Handicap are welcome to play in club competitions, subject to availability of tee times and must check 2 days before an event. Call the Pro Shop on 02 62424662 to check for competition availability and information on group bookings.
As a visitor you need to know:
- your clothing should meet the club’s dress code
- when you arrive, you must go to the Pro Shop and pay the appropriate fee
- there is a maximum of four players in a group
- each player must have a set of clubs
- players should care for the course by carrying sand buckets and repairing pitch marks and divots
Competition days
At Gungahlin Lakes men and women have equal playing rights. Members’ competitions are run every Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday and public holidays. An Open competition is run on Tuesdays.
Course availability for visitors
The course is available to visitors:
- Monday: social golf all day
- Tuesday: open competition 7.45am- 11.35am, social golf morning and afternoon timeslots
- Wednesday: social golf 11.45am onwards
- Thursday: social golf all day
- Friday: social golf all day
- Saturday: social golf 11.30am onwards
- Sunday: social golf 7.15am-8:44am (10th), 11.30am-12:44pm (10th) and 12.45 onwards (1st)

Cart hire
The club may change the use of golf carts depending on weather conditions to ensure there is minimal damage to the course. The rules displayed in the carts must always be followed.
