A couple of things to update you on and for you to hopefully add into your diary.
Monthly Medal presentation – On Saturday we have the first of our new format Monthly Medal presentations. If you have been reading the updates you will know we are going to bi-monthly presentations hoping that we can make the presentations a more celebratory event. The next few presentations are scheduled for: 2 July (this Saturday), 3 September and 5 November.
The events will kick off at around 5.30 pm with hot nibbles served and the bar open (buy your own drinks). At 6.00 pm or as close to, we will welcome new members to the club and make the medal presentations.
Remember, instead of a door prize ($100) and a members badge draw ($100 which compounds to $500), there will be a member’s draw of $300 which to win, you will need to be in attendance. Numbers will continue to be drawn until someone in attendance wins. The $300 will be on an Ainslie card which you will be able to use anywhere in the club or at the Pro-shop.
It would be good to see a crowd in attendance to celebrate the achievement of our medal medal winners and welcome our new members.
Mid-year Lakeball – this is a fun golfing event scheduled for this Sunday (3 July) which is followed by a sausage sizzle. In summary, the event has an 8.30 am shotgun start followed by a sausage sizzle and the event is open to players in all membership categories.
